As an alliance of financial professionals, AFEA fosters an environment of trust and integrity within our organization. An accurate representation of AFEA's mission and 501(c)(3) program standards is key in order to ensure mutual respect and mutual benefit, for both student and instructor alike. To qualify for an AFEA membership, you will be required to meet specific criteria to ensure AFEA maintains a professional uniformity throughout our 200+ locations, and continue to carry out our mission of informing and empowering American's to take control of their finances by providing comprehensive financial education. - Industry Experience - In order to provide a level of education which incorporates trust and understanding, you must have at least 3 years of experience in the financial industry, at minimum, to access our program. Experience is essential inside of the classroom, and can help to build those long-term, trustworthy relationships with your prospective clients.
- Soft Credit & Background Checks - A positive and clean reputation, both professionally and financially, are imperative in order to join our alliance. As an AFEA instructor, you will be an extension and representation of our trusted organization. Don't worry, our credit check is a soft hit, this process takes place before you begin the process of training and on-boarding.
- Attitude Is Everything - Having the mindset of "an educated student makes the best client" can make a world of difference in your success rate and overall happiness in an education-driven environment. By providing education, you're creating a catalyst for long-term, relationship building, interactions with your students.
